Job Description
This position is responsible for providing financial leadership support to the YUM planning and forecasting processes, including frequent communication with Yum LT. The individual will provide support to the global forecast by analyzing divisional profit, development and sales outlooks, as well as refranchising and G&A spend details. The role will be a contributor during the quarterly earnings release process and in preparation for the analyst meeting led by Investor Relations. Finally, this person will assist in the preparation of business and Board meeting updates for senior leadership.
Salary Range: $105,000- $120,000 annually + bonus eligibility (if applicable). This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate's location, experience, and other job-related factors.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with divisions and certain Yum departments to collect forecast data and assist in the consolidation of the Core operating profit and earnings per share (EPS) forecasts.
- Support quarterly earnings release process and analyst meeting preparation efforts
- Maintain various financial models, including global consolidated forecast, period flash results,
leader's bonus, and capital spending
- Support roll-out of new global planning system
- Assist in the preparation of business updates for the Board of Directors and Yum! Senior Leadership
- Perform detailed Ad Hoc analysis on critical profit flow-through, business unit trends, etc.
- Continual communication and relationship building with and across brand finance teams, leveraging those relationships to share best practices across Yum and brands
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
- 5+ years finance experience
- Exceptional Excel, HFM and PowerPoint skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong / proven interpersonal and relationship skills
- Able to effectively push back on and constructively challenge brand and other Yum! finance teams
- Comfort in dealing with executive and senior management levels
- MBA
- Practical experience in restaurant industry
- Financial planning, external reporting, brand reporting, or control experience
- Familiarity with Yum accounting policies/procedures
- Experience leading teams and / or managing high-profile processes and projects
- Demonstrated world class finance conceptual skill, thought leadership and business judgment
