Consumer Insights Sr. Manager

at our Chicago Commercial Center. This opening supports our Feminine Care brands.With your deep expertise in quantitative and qualitative research, behavior science and design thinking, you'll take the lead in uncovering 360-degree human understanding to inspire growth-minded decisions and foster a data-driven culture. You'll be the driving force behind applying meaningful, best-in-class consumer insights to create breakthrough innovative products and experiences that will make a difference in consumers’ lives.As an exceptional communicator, you will build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization and will be vital player in a team of brand strategists, engineers, and designers.

You will build the talent of others by developing and sharing best practices with both the Insights & Analytics community and broader organization. As a creative and critical thinker with a passion for innovation, you will always be looking for new ways to push the boundaries of what's possible.In this role, you will:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to help identify relevant business issues, research objectives and hypotheses to address brand questions and needs.

Develop and drive the appropriate learning plans with creativity and flexibility to evaluate hypotheses that can assist in meeting multi-faceted business objectives and utilizing appropriate methodologies to develop and test hypotheses, draw relevant inferences, and create recommendations to define business opportunities.

Tell stories that keep consumers at the forefront of everything we do and inspire action by synthesizing, interpreting, and applying information/data to establish facts and developing insights to provide new perspectives on the category, consumers, and innovation pathways.

Proactively own the engagement of marketing research and analytics projects, including external research suppliers, to ensure the research and analytics are executed in an accurate, timely, and cost-efficient manner.

Uncover insights in an agile, dynamic business environment to drive iterative innovation process.

Lead with the application of behavioral understanding to brand building. Applying sound understanding of current and emerging research methodologies, acting as the functional expert in the application of consumer practices.

Demonstrate intense curiosity to learn the business, the consumer, the market, and apply innovation consumer methodologies to strengthen consumer insights.

Up to 10% travel may be required.

To succeed in this role, you will need the following qualifications:Bachelor's degree and 7+ years of experience in consumer insights, advanced degree preferred

Expertise in executing behavioral science experiments and experience leading, designing, executing, and reporting primary market research.

Deep understanding of how to integrate consumer insights fundamentals including primary & secondary consumer research, syndicated research, positioning & communication development, and strategic business analysis into business, innovation, and marketing strategies. This includes segmentation, need states, concept and product development/validation, test and learn approaches, design/packaging testing, creative optimization and more

Expertise in Design Thinking and agile tools.

Exceptional track record of translating insights into strategy and innovation priorities for a brand

Ability to work effectively with all levels of business team management

Ability to coach others and build organizational talent relative to market research and strategic thought

Proven ability to integrate data from a variety of sources to provide clarity and direction to multi-functional team

Strong influencing skills and ability to shape strategic direction

Excellent written and communication skills
