Associate QA Analyst

IXL Learning, developer of personalized learning products used by millions of people globally, is seeking an Associate QA Analyst. As an Associate QA Analyst at IXL, you will be responsible for ensuring that we consistently deliver software of the highest quality. You will work closely with our product managers and engineers to develop and execute test strategies for a variety of exciting new features.This is a full-time position in our San Mateo, CA headquarters office.WHAT YOU'LL BE DOINGReview business requirements and develop test plans, test cases, test estimations, and test execution reportsPerform functionality, regression, integration, UI, smoke, exploratory, stress and performance testingManage all communications related to QA status on a daily basis and report potential risks during all stages of development lifecycleWork closely with development and product teams to resolve any issues that arise out of the testing processAnalyze test results and facilitate resolution of issuesIterate on existing testing processes and standards to improve efficiency and accuracy
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
BA/BS degree requiredAbility to work both independently and on a wide variety of teamsPassion for making bullet-proof applications and improving education through technologySelf-motivated, detail oriented, proactive and collaborativeExcellent written and verbal communication skillsKnowledge of JIRA, Unix, SQL, JavaScript, CSS, source control, and mobile device development is a plusScripting or programming experience is a plus
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The base salary range for this full-time position is $67,000 - $75,000 + benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position.
