Stand Together is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Senior Software Engineer to join our team! As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting our software development team in all aspects of the development, testing, and implementation of our products. You will train, mentor, and work with other software engineers in the Drupal content management system (CMS). In addition, you will work with data engineers, architects, cloud engineers, marketing teams, and stakeholders on solutions that help some of our society's biggest challenges! We are looking for someone who is comfortable architecting solutions and working in the full Drupal development stack. This position can be fully remote.
Your Responsibilities Include
Serve as the primary maintainer of some of our MarTech systemsMentor and train other software engineers on best practices in DrupalCreating custom modules and designing custom layouts using DrupalWriting and debugging PHP / HTML / CSS / JavaScript codeDesign software solutions that meet the requirementsTroubleshooting general software issuesWorking closely with other engineers to improve product's functionalityWork with marketing team leads on finding solutions to improve outreachParticipating in estimation discussions with the teamContinually improving coding and other technical skillsSkills you bring to the Organization
At least six years of professional software development experienceExperience in designing and architecting software solutions from scratchExperience leading software engineers or other technical practitionersExperience with requirements gathering and refinement in an Agile environmentExperience working directly with internal and external project stakeholdersExperience writing PHP code using the Symfony frameworkExperience with Drupal, Wordpress or other CMS systems that support headless / hybrid modeExperience with SQL a must; NoSQL preferred but not requiredExperience with front-end and backend JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Vue, NodeJS, React)Experience and general knowledge of SSL certificates and web protocolsAcquia and AWS experience preferredDigital Asset Management (DAM) tool experience such as Widen, ZDam, Canto preferredContent Delivery Network experience preferredExperience working with marketing teams preferredWhat We Offer
