Our Newest Opportunity:

The ETL / ELT developer is responsible for creating and maintaining the Source-to-Target data mappings. This is done through extracting data from heterogeneous source systems, including databases, CRM, ERP, flat files, web services etc. Upon extracting the data, the ETL / ELT developer will be responsible for transforming the data. The data can be transformed through data cleansing, aggregation, mapping and converting data based on business / data system requirements. Along with the extraction, transformation, and loading of data the ETL Developer will also assist in developing data pipelines to ensure ongoing data collection, consolidation and management. The core responsibility will be to combine large volumes of disparate complex data, conduct quality checks on the data, manipulate the data and ensure continues access to a clean format of the operational data for reporting, data scientists and other stakeholders.

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

Key Responsibilities:

• ETL/ELT Development: Design, develop, and maintain ETL/ELT processes to efficiently extract,

transform, and load data from various sources into SQL Server and Snowflake.

• Data Integration: Integrate data from diverse sources, including on-premises databases,

cloud-based services, and third-party applications.

• Database Management: Create and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and functions in

SQL Server and Snowflake to support data processing and reporting.

• Data Modeling: Collaborate with data architects and analysts to design and implement data

models that meet business requirements and optimize performance.

• Performance Tuning: Monitor and optimize ETL/ELT processes for performance and scalability,

addressing any bottlenecks or inefficiencies.

• Data Quality: Implement data validation and cleansing processes to ensure data accuracy and

integrity.

• Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for ETL/ELT processes, data flows,

and system architecture.

• Collaboration: Work closely with business stakeholders, data analysts, and other team

members to understand data needs and deliver solutions that meet those needs.

• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to ETL/ELT processes, data integration,

and database performance.

• Experience: 5+ years of experience in ETL/ELT development with a strong background in SQL Server and Snowflake.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in SQL, T-SQL, and Snowflake SQL. Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) or equivalent.

• Data Warehousing: Understanding of data warehousing concepts, data modeling, and dimensional modeling.

• Scripting Languages: Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

• Cloud Platforms: Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and their data services.

• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Communication: Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.

Preferred Skills :

• Big Data Technologies: Knowledge of big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) and their integration with Snowflake.

• Data Visualization: Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

• Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company's performance.
