Positive Overview
The Director of AI Strategy will identify problem fits for AI, leading solutions, exploring different models, and drive these solutions through these problems. They will be a strategic thinker and define this capability moving forward for Global Atlantic. This role is highly visible within technology and business leadership.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy LLM driven solutions & machine learning models.
Work with large-scale data sets, including structured and unstructured data.
Implement and optimize machine learning algorithms and deep learning models.
Utilize AWS technologies such as Bedrock and Sagemaker for model training and deployment.
Experience with fine tuning LLM’s to customize these to solution for business problems.
Experience with operating models on GPU rendered machines.
Develop solutions using publicly available AI Transformer libraries (e.g., Hugging Face).
Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging.
Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in AI and machine learning.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field.
5+ years of experience working within AI and machine learning.
Strong proficiency in Python development.
Experience with machine learning frameworks and deep learning toolsets.
Familiarity with AWS services (e.g., Bedrock, Sagemaker).
Knowledge of AI Transformer libraries (e.g., Hugging Face).
Ability to develop and deploy solutions using publicly available models.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with natural language processing (NLP) and understanding (NLU).
Knowledge of cloud-based infrastructure and distributed computing.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for innovation.
