This role will drive critical cross-functional operational ownership for collaboration, systems, processes, metrics and reporting, and operational efficiencies across the organization. You will serve as the connective tissue across the organization to ensure stakeholders can successfully execute on integrated projects and operational plans between business units in alignment with AppZen’s strategic goals. This role will report to our Senior Vice-President of Global Field Operations.Specifically, the Director of Operations will be responsible for managing operations across Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Operations and Finance/FP&A with a team of direct and indirect reports. You will be responsible for driving operational excellence, implementing and optimizing programs and processes, and ensuring smooth functioning of business functions.Responsibilities and Ownership:
Drive cross-functional management of Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Operations teams and Finance/FP&A teams.Institute and drive programs, projects and processes.Develop, track and improve analytics, metrics, objectives and goals.Foster a collaborative, high-performance culture, encouraging teamwork and professional growth.Sales Operations:Develop and implement strategies to drive sales growth and maximize revenue.Collaborate with the sales team to establish sales targets, quotas, and incentives.Oversee the sales pipeline, forecasting, and performance analysis.Ensure efficient sales processes, including lead generation, qualification, and conversion.Marketing Operations:Work closely with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing strategies.Monitor marketing campaigns, analyze performance metrics, and optimize ROI.Drive lead generation efforts and collaborate with sales to ensure effective lead management.Customer Success:Develop and implement customer success strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, retention, and expansion.Establish and monitor customer success metrics and KPIs.Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless customer experiences across all touchpoints.Business Operations:Streamline and optimize business processes, workflows, and systems.Monitor and analyze key operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and efficiency.Develop and implement strategies to enhance productivity and operational effectiveness.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational initiatives and support business growth.Foster the design, implementation, and execution of processes for cross-functional areas of our business to provide timely, visible, and clear bottom-up and top-down communication, documentation and reporting.Lead, monitor and establish visibility and communication of cross-company projects/processes with analytics and content management, with the goal of maximizing information sharing, visibility and enablement.Collaborate with program and project managers regarding systems and process alignment to enable product delivery plans with stakeholder engagement.Responsible for creating and delivering status reports on cross-company priority initiatives and operational activities for executives and key stakeholders.Responsible for identifying and reporting roadblocks, risks, and critical dependencies; and ensuring the important ‘stuff’ gets done.Identify and ensure ownership for and that processes across the organization are living and amended as required; establish and maintain a metrics program to measure results.Requirements:
Minimum of 8 years of previous operations experience in similar roles.Bachelor’s degree in business or science with PMP designation preferred.MBA preferred.8+ years’ experience in project management, analytical problem-solving capabilities, previous operational excellence experience and a demonstrated track record of implementing operational improvements.Experience in fast-paced, SaaS companies working with international teams and reports including US, India and Europe.Demonstrated experience managing and leading Sales, Marketing, Customer Success, Business Operations teams and Finance/FP&A teams.Demonstrated experience and success managing metrics and KPIs in these operation functions, including pipeline generation, conversion rates and win-loss analysis.Strategic Thinking:Strong strategic and analytical skills with the ability to identify opportunities and solve complex problems.Proven track record of developing and implementing successful operational strategies.Leadership and Communication:Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.Extremely strong organizational skills and business acumen.Results-Oriented:Proven ability to drive results and meet or exceed targets and objectives.Data-driven mindset with a focus on performance metrics and continuous improvement.Industry Knowledge:Solid understanding of the sales, marketing, and customer success functions.Familiarity with business operations, including process optimization and efficiency.Benefits:
