We offer a competitive salary, an excellent benefits package, tuition reimbursement, employee assistance, and a 401K plan.$10,000 Sign-On Bonus***ResponsibilitiesEnsure there are systems in place to facilitate the effective and efficient day-to-day operation of the Department of Nursing.Responsible for utilizing the performance improvement process to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the Nursing Department.Monitor clinical data to ensure the facility is meeting the clinical needs of each resident and the clinical goals of the facility.Initiate appropriate and timely problem identification and problem-solving in response to changes in clinical data.Routinely monitor census, resident acuity, and staffing levels to ensure effective and efficient staffing patterns are in place.In the absence of the Administrator, responsible for oversight of facility operations.Ensure there are systems in place to facilitate timely and effective clinical decision-making regarding the admission of new residents to the facility.Participate in the monitoring of patient referrals and actual admissions, identifying potential barriers to admissions and recommending solutions to accommodate additional types of patients.QualificationsMaster’s degree in Nursing or related field preferred.Current Maryland RN licensure.Progressive management experience in a skilled nursing facility highly recommended.
