The Business Development Director is a self-motivated and results-driven sales team member that has new business generating responsibilities for Let’s Pave & Let’s Roof. As Director, Business Development, the company is looking to you to build strong relationships with potential clients nationally while selling Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof’s complete body of services, including paving and roofing maintenance, and management solutions that maximize topline revenues and GOP.Responsibilities:

This important role in the greater Let’s Pave & Let’s Roof organization includes a flight plan for advancement into the next department role (VP, Business Development) in next 12-18 months.Identify and qualify potential clients through market research, networking, cold calling, social media, industry associations and memberships and other lead generation methods.Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline in the Salesforce CRM through active prospecting and following up on leads to achieve sales targets.Maintain accurate and up-to-date sales records, reports, and forecasts in the Salesforce CRM.Secure appointments with prospects and when appropriate include the Executive Vice President, Business Development, Vice President, Business Development or Division Vice President, Let’s Roof to cooperatively present all Let’s Pave / Let’s Roof product, program, and service solutions.Build and nurture strong relationships with clients and prospects by understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to meet their pavement and roofing requirements.Effectively communicate our value proposition to potential clients using all available means (email, phone, text/SMS, trade shows, in-person presentations, Teams meetings, standard and custom marketing materials and more.)Actively participate in the company’s Let’s Pave 360 sales process and utilize all available tools that help drive business to the organization.Collaborate with the Customer Success and Onboarding (CSO) Manager as well as all members of the Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof Operations Team, including estimators, sourcing specialists and project managers, to ensure smooth transition and successful account acquisition.Stay informed about industry trends, competitive landscape, and market developments to effectively position all Let’s Pave & Let’s Roof services in the marketplace.Prepare, develop, deliver and present Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof sales proposals, contracts that drive new logos/new customers in high volume throughout the year to the organization.Represent Let’s Pave at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to expand brand visibility and generate new business opportunities.Qualifications

Proven track record in inside or outside sales, preferably in the construction, paving, roofing, or related service industry.Strong prospecting and lead generation skills with the ability to uncover new business opportunities.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively articulate the value proposition of both Let’s Pave and Let’s Roof services.Have a demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and delivering tailored solutions.Have a self-motivated, proactive, positive and results-oriented mindset.Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to understand complex sales cycles.Knowledge of the paving and roofing industries are a plus.Proficiency in using Salesforce CRM software, HubSpot, Hootsuite and other sales productivity tools.Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel occasionally.Base Pay

Base salary is commensurate with your industry experience and will be agreed upon by members of the Company Executive Team.Commissions & Provisions

During the calendar year (January 1 – December 31), sales commissions are paid on cumulative sales revenues for the year per the schedule listed below. All commissions are paid on quarterly basis and are based on collected revenues for the previous quarter.Cumulative annual sales between $0-3.75M:1.25% sales commission on all topline revenue. Accts must meet ICP protocol, credit thresholds, and all LP & LR New Customer Setup Parameters.1.75% uncapped sales commission on all topline revenue, Accts must meet ICP protocol, credit thresholds, and all LP & LR New Customer Setup Parameters.Note: All accounts sold by members of the Let’s Pave / Let’s Roof sales organization are subject to an ‘account sunsetting provision’ where commission potential reduces by 50% annually over a three-year period.Think You'd Be A Great Fit?
