California State Speech Pathology licenseMasters degree in Communicative Disorders from an institution approved by the American Speech and Hearing AssociationHigh level of clinical skill to evaluate and treat children with speech and language needsExcellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesAble to efficiently learn new computer and clinic systemsExcellent documentation abilitiesSpecific clinical training in a hospital/rehabilitation setting is required
