The type of opportunity available:SYSTEM WIDE SEASONAL TEAM – Full Time, Benefitted, Limited tenure Scripps employee who supports assignments of 13 or 26 weeks. This is varied Shift and must be willing to work Night Shift and float to any of our 5 hospitals located in San Diego.Completion bonus available at the end of the initial 13 week assignment = $6K. As a member of the Seasonal team, you can fill vital roles on a contract basis (13 or 26 weeks) to provide critical coverage for peak seasonal demands while gaining experience in a variety of environments.Join our Scripps SSRS team as a Respiratory Therapist where you will provide direct patient care within the scope of your practice. This includes the following:In collaboration with other caregivers, assesses, plans, implements and evaluates action for respiratory care.Performs all technical, diagnostic and therapeutic procedures related to respiratory care.Performs other core responsibilities to maintain the flow of patient care.May provide additional patient care within their scope of practice as permitted by licensure, certificate or training.Utilizes computer systems in performing position duties.Adheres to hospital and departmental policies and procedures.Participates in quality control, preventative maintenance and performance improvement activities.** Previous Scripps employees who would like to move into a seasonal position will have to have left the organization for a frame of one (1) year prior to onboarding as a seasonal employee.#J-18808-Ljbffr
