Finance Director, Underground Hard Rock

is considered a strategic business partner to the Sr. Vice President, Underground Hard Rock and the underground hard rock global business team. The position incumbent will be an indirect leader to the hard rock business with indepth knowledge of financial processes and analysis, providing guidance on business strategies and actions through a developed understanding of the global mining market and our mining customers businesses as well as our OEM operating models. Sudbury, Ontario, Canada.Key Job Responsibilities

Act in a business consultant capacity to the hard rock organization supporting critical business decisions, providing general business guidance based on financial planning and results.Provide business/finance analysis and reporting, support & advice to leadership team members in support of guiding their functional areas of responsibilityPresent business guidance and financial results to executive management through the Komatsu organizationManage a finance team through the business analysis and financial accounting programs and procedures to ensure financial compliance is maintainedSupport preparation and delivery of new product development, continuous product line budgets and forecastsPropose business models on how to transact on complex ordersParticipate in product costing discussions and provide inputReview CAPEX requests and justificationsParticipate in underground hard rock business and product line strategic planning and actions (acquisitions, cost reduction, continuous improvement and growth initiatives)Support general financial processing and reporting requirements through corporate processes.Qualifications/Requirements

Bachelor's degree with a major in Accounting/Finance/CommerceCPA or equivalent professional designationMinimum of 10 years of experience in financial planning, consolidations, reporting and analysisMinimum of 5 years of experience providing financial consultation to large complex organizationsExperience leading a team of finance professionals in business consultation and accounting requirementsUnderstands and can apply North American Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesExperience providing business consultation based on financial forecasting and resultsExcellent interpersonal, influence, organization, written and verbal communication skillsStrategic planning experienceStrong problem-solving and indirect leadership skillsExtensive skills using Microsoft Excel and PowerpointBackground with SAP/BPC software is requiredExperience in industrial manufacturing is required, OEM experience considered an assetPrevious experience working a global matrix organization in a broad team an assetMust be eligible to travel globally to customer and Komatsu facilitiesMust have valid citizenship or qualification to work in Canada.Additional Information
