The International expansion oversees Amazon Business Canada, Mexico and new launches. This role is for our Amazon Canada Team. Launched in October of 2019, Amazon Business Canada is applying the same entrepreneurial and innovative approach that delivered the Amazon.ca shopping experience, new technologies, products, and enterprise services. With our drive to reinvent on behalf of business customers, we are focused on building Amazon Business into the largest and most innovative Business-to-Business (B2B) marketplace in the world. Our customers include individual professionals, small businesses to large institutions from every industry vertical.

We are seeking a talented, results-driven, customer-focused, and innovative Sr. Product Manager to drive the development of these customer segments by identifying opportunities, defining strategies, and growth roadmaps to ultimately launch projects, initiatives, and/or product features suited to drive more value to our customers and increase their engagement within AB.

An ideal candidate is someone with a high degree of ownership, who likes experimenting and setting high standards, with a roll-up-your-sleeves attitude. Must be able to think creatively, deal with ambiguity, and manage changing priorities. This person must have a high degree of autonomy with the ability to develop solutions and drive projects forward with minimal guidance. Candidate will need to develop an in-depth understanding of the business and champion the needs of AB CA small business and individual professionals customers to deliver sustainable growth in revenue and profitability. Candidate must be able to think strategically, yet execute methodically to deliver to the highest standards. Also, candidate is able to quickly earn trust and has a strong team orientation with the ability to influence others and gain consensus in a start-up environment. We are seeking a strong leader who can influence executives, prioritize, communicate clearly and compellingly, and understand how to deliver excellent results within a strong and talented team. You will own the weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting of customer segment performance and identify areas of opportunity.

Key job responsibilities

Act as a business owner within a scope of work, representing the voice of the AB small business and individual professional customers in CA to drive forward solutions through extended partner teams. Establish key metrics (KPIs), identify gaps, and improve performance within the scope of influence. Actively identify and resolve both strategic and tactical issues that may impair the ability to meet strategic, financial, and product roadmap goals. Capture, document, and communicate business requirements. Translate requirements into features and user stories. Own project status updates to stakeholders and leadership. Conduct customer research and analyze existing customer and performance data. Successful candidate will be able to work comfortably with both qualitative and quantitative data, and able to turn data inputs into actionable business insights. Own regular business updates on marketing performance and segment level business reporting. Candidate will be required to provide regular updates to the leadership - strong verbal and written communications skills is a must. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders in Marketing, Pricing, Retail, and Payments teams to ensure consistent marketing communication and act as customer champion to influence CX improvement roadmap. Work with CA Marketing and Product Marketing Managers to define a customer value proposition and messaging frameworks and work jointly to implement it across multiple channels for the CA marketplace. Minimum Qualifications - 5+ years of product or program management, product marketing, business development or technology experience - Bachelor's degree or equivalent - Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product - Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition - Experience with end-to-end product delivery - Experience as a product manager or owner - Experience owning technology products - Experience in influencing senior leadership through data-driven insights - Experience working across functional teams and senior stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $124,500/year in our lowest geographic market up to $206,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
