DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:Work Schedule:

This is a full time, 1.0 FTE position. Shifts will be scheduled Monday - Friday. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. You will work at 1675 Highland Ave in Madison, WI.

Bring your leadership experience to the nationally known American Family Children's Hospital. We are seeking a Registered Nurse Director - American Family Children's Hospital (AFCH) Operations to:

Lead programs that are both inpatient and ambulatory facing to bridge the continuum of care across pediatric settings.

Manage the complex interdepartmental and interdisciplinary relationships to assure collaboration and effective/efficient operations within AFCH operations.

Remain current of new trends and best practices and incorporate into AFCH practices and programs.

OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:Education:

Master's Degree in Nursing Required

Work Experience:

5 years relevant leadership experience Required

5 years relevant leadership experience in pediatrics Preferred

Experience in a large academic or complex healthcare system, including Level 1 Trauma Center services and pediatric surgical patients Preferred

Licenses and Certifications:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
