As a Catering and Events Manager, your primary responsibility is to manage accounts, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction while actively soliciting both past and new business. The goal is to achieve or exceed all revenue targets, including room nights, average rates, and room rentals.Essential Job Functions:Review Daily Event Sheet and Banquet Event Orders.Check status of meeting room set-ups.Visually inspect all meeting rooms and public areas making note of any changes that are inconsistent with the BEO’s and take immediate corrective action.Coordinate refreshes and changes to all meeting rooms with the proper operation department.Inspect registration area and office for cleanliness, water service, etcCheck-in with Meeting Planners a minimum of 4 times a day.Assist clients with any last minute or pending requests.Complete daily events report.
