The Senior Treatment Unit provides comprehensive care and support for adults ages 65 and over who have a variety of psychiatric conditions, including memory disorders such as Alzheimer’s disease, depression, anxiety, and other cognitive disorders that may cause behavioral difficulties.Opportunity Highlights:Inpatient focused on a 20-bed unit with optional outpatient and dedicated admin timeAverage of 10 patients per dayMonday through Friday with rotational callTeaching/Academic time with Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University Psychiatry Residents and Fellows (if desired)Eligible for Public Service Loan ForgivenessCompetitive base salary and generous benefit package including CME, malpractice insurance coverage, and employer retirement match programFounded in 1844, Butler Hospital is the state's only non-profit, free-standing psychiatric hospital providing adults, seniors, and adolescents specialized assessment and treatment for all major psychiatric illnesses and substance abuse.Care New EnglandCare New England is a nonprofit hospital system affiliated with the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University and University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine.
