Job Description

Objectives:Designs, implements, and maintains an organization's information technology (IT) systems. including operating systems, security tools, applications, servers, email systems, laptops, desktops, software, and hardwareTake responsibility for projects and solutions within the larger business initiativeHandle business-critical IT tasks and systems that provide commercial advantage in the global marketplaceEnable faster and smarter business processes, and develop analytics for meaningful insightsWork with internal and external partners to communicate project status, activities, and achievementsResponsibilities:

Creating the basic computing infrastructure and defining system functionalityInstalling, configuring, and testing operating systems, application software, and system management tools.Defining and implementing best practice use of management toolsMonitor IT system health using management tools, and respond to hardware issues as they arise; help build, test, and maintain new servers when neededPerform server administration tasks (ex: user/group, security permissions, group policies, print services); research event-log warnings and errors; and monitor resources to ensure that systems architecture components work together seamlessly.Maintain internal infrastructure requirements, including laptop and desktop computers, servers, routers, switches, firewalls, printers, phones, security updates, support internet, intranet, LANs, WANs, and network segmentsPerform routine and scheduled audits of all systems, including backups.Qualifications

Minimum clearance required: Active TS/SCI with Lifestyle Poly

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Proven success in an IT roleExperience with or knowledge of Windows Server, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, systems performance-monitoring tools, active directories, virtualization, HTTP traffic, content delivery, and cachingExperience in project management, application design and integrationExpertise in analyzing and repairing large-scale distributed systems; creating volumes and assigning them to servers; and remote replicationKnowledge of Windows systems administration Preferred skills and qualificationsPreferred Skills and Qualifications:

5 or more years of related experienceBachelor's degree (or equivalent) in information technology or computer scienceKnowledge of Linux systems administration
