A fast-growing dietary supplements company in the northern Salt Lake City Metro Area is seeking a
Director of Quality Assurance & Compliance
to be a driving force behind the company’s commitment to excellence.
In this role, you'll not only oversee the daily pulse of quality assurance and control but also shape the very systems that ensure their products meet the highest standards. As a key member of the senior leadership team, you'll help propel the business forward through strategic quality initiatives, safeguarding their reputation, fostering customer trust, and ultimately contributing to their continued success and growth.

WHAT YOU WILL DO
In this role you’ll ensure world-class products, standards, and safety by being a:
Quality Champion:
Lead and inspire a team dedicated to upholding the highest quality standards across all aspects of operations.
Laboratory Overseer:
Oversee testing, sampling, and continuous improvement within the ISO 17025 accredited laboratory.
Regulatory Guardian:
Ensure full compliance with international, federal, and local dietary supplement manufacturing and distribution regulations
Standard Setter:
Maintain and enhance the Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring adherence to GMP and product certifications
Audit Facilitator:
Prepare for and participate in internal and external audits, maintaining a constant state of audit readiness.
Data Driver:
Generate and analyze data to identify trends, proactively address potential issues, and support informed decision-making.
Change & Records Manager:
Manage change control processes and ensure meticulous document control.

WHAT YOU WILL BRING
Industry Experience:
10+ years of experience operating within a dietary supplements environment (preferably nutraceuticals) in a quality management function.
Lab Leadership:
Proven success in running an ISO 17025 accredited laboratory within a contract manufacturing organization.
Team Leadership:
Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire a high-performing quality team.
Communication:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of interacting effectively with all levels of the organization and external stakeholders.
Problem-solving:
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
Adaptability:
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and adapting to change.
Education:
Degree in Chemistry or Microbiology.
