Position Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to join our team at Sam's Club. We are looking for an iOS Senior software engineer who is self-motivated with strong knowledge of software fundamentals and excited to solve complex problems. What you'll do: Design and implement core features in the shopping funnel of Sam’s Club iOS application. Work closely with product and design teams to optimize the experience for iOS platform. Understand complex architecture and add any enhancements to the existing solutions. Write unit tests and improve code coverage for unit tests. Experiment with new technologies and features and build quick prototypes. Participate in managing code & configurations for multiple environments, release management process, creating and maintaining environment configuration and controls, code integrity and work closely with platform team. Analyzing business requirements, developing UI/UX, supporting QA and similar steps of the scrum process, working in an agile development environment with a quick turnaround time and iterative builds. Lead the discovery phase of medium to large projects to come up with high-level design. Troubleshoot business and production issues. Ensure inclusion of business vision and industry trends to enable results that drive business. Problem solving and troubleshooting design and development issues and provide appropriate solutions. Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical cross-functional teams. Provide guidance and mentorship to junior engineers. What you'll bring: Good proficiency in Swift and iOS application architecture. Solid understanding of iOS UI framework, design principles, patterns, and best practices. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively with engineers, product managers, and business stakeholders alike. A desire to work in a fast-paced and challenging work environment. Knowledge of supporting tools like Figma, Charles, Postman. Knowledge of design patterns and SOLID principles is a plus. Experience in the retail industry is a plus. Minimum Qualifications: Option 1: Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, computer information systems, software engineering, or related area and 3 years’ experience in software engineering or related area.
