The Career Services Specialist is responsible for three major components of a successful student placement experience:
Identifying, developing, and securing relationships with employers to hire students/graduates of IEC/UEI College programs through developing externship-to-hire and direct hire job order opportunities.
Preparing our students for job placement readiness for their externship and future employment through relationship building, resume development, and interviewing readiness.
Meeting set placement standards as established by accrediting agencies, the state, and annual IEC goals and objectives while fulfilling administrative record keeping and reporting requirements.
