Our culture of evolution and empathy centers on long-term career growth and development opportunities in an environment that embraces your unique skills and experience.Your Role and ResponsibilitiesProvides expert level business process guidance on Navy ERP's SAP requirements and design, including designing/configuring business processes in SAP FM to automate management and external reporting of general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and cash management.Manage posting periods and period end closing; enable open and integrated data flow between financial accounts and other components of the SAP system.Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge across key tasks and high impact assignments. Plans and leads major technology assignments. Evaluates performance results and recommends major changes affecting short-term project growth and success.Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments.Strategic SAP Solution Leadership: Leading the technical design, development, and implementation of SAP solutions for simplicity, amplification, and maintainability that meet client needs.Team Delivery leadership: Lead and manage a high performing team of SAP consultants to deliver work products on time, budget, and quality.Comprehensive Solution Delivery: Involvement in strategy development and solution implementation, leveraging your functional expertise of SAP with clients and team members and working with the latest technologies.This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher.Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseProfessional Expertise with SAP Configuration: Hands-on SAP configuration experience in SAP FICO with a minimum of 10 years experience in end-to-end implementations. SAP subject matter expert (SME) in 1+ module.SAP Process knowledge: 5+ years designing/configuring business processes in SAP Funds Management (FM). Ex: Budgetary Ledger, FM Derivation, Budgeting and AVC Control.Software development lifecycle: gathering, analysis, design, development, documentation, testing (unit, functional, integration, regression, stress, and user acceptance), implementation, and post-production support of standard and custom business solutions supporting (in a Tier 3 environment).Bachelor's Degree in recognized technical, engineering, scientific, managerial, business, or other discipline related to area of expertise. An additional 4+ years of relevant experience may be substituted for Bachelor's Degree.This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret Security clearance or higher - US citizenship is required.Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseKnowledge of and experience with DoD and specifically Navy ERP.Experience in post go-live production support and break/fix.About Business UnitIBM Consulting is IBM's consulting and global professional services business, with market leading capabilities in business and technology transformation.
