Overview:Performs computerized imaging, knowledge of all equipment and monitors. Assist patients and physicians as needed.Qualifications:Required Education:High School Diploma or GEDPreferred Education:Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.Necessary Skills:Knowledge of computer software and ability to troubleshoot.Ability to provide physical and/or psychological support to patients screening and patient limitations.Required Licensure/Certifications:BLS from the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross

A minimum of one of the following license qualification/certification combinations:License qualification/certification combination 1:FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer or Radiologist AssistantCertification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography. Within 1 year of hire or transfer into position must obtain ARRT (CT) Computed Tomography.License qualification/certification combination 2:FL DOH license qualification: Nuclear Medicine TechnologistCertification/registration: ARRT (N) Nuclear Medicine Technology -OR- NMTCB, -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed TomographyLicense qualification/certification combination 3:FL DOH license qualification: Radiation Therapy TechnologistCertification/registration: ARRT (T) Radiation Therapy -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed TomographyLicense qualification/certification combination 4:FL DOH license qualification: General Radiographer, Radiologist Assistant, or Computed Tomography Certification/registration: ARRT (R) Radiography -AND- ARRT (CT) Computed TomographyRequired Experience:Less than one year in computerized imaging (CT, x-ray, nuclear medicine, or radiation therapy), or graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program.Preferred Experience:One year of radiology experience within Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, Radiation Therapy, or MRI and graduate of a post-secondary CT certification program or 1 year of CT imaging experience.
