Vetting teams build and maintain software services, tools, and platforms for deploying, orchestrating, and monitoring tests for AWS servers. Our software ensures that all AWS systems meet AWS' quality bar and are operating as expected in our data centers.Who do we do: AWS Vetting software teams develop the systems, services, and tools that ensure the health of AWS cloud by measuring the health of all server systems at AWS before they are used by our customers.What you will do:

You will define the engagement model for software development and delivery, and manage cross-team dependencies and relationships. You will be the key leader responsible for delivering the distributed software systems and results that will ensure that AWS customers get healthy servers and services. Responsibilities include:Collecting business and systems requirements from across AWS.Driving project schedules from design to release.Managing production launches.Driving consistency in solutions across multiple AWS teams.We are looking for a self-starter individual, who can help us raise the bar in technical program management practices and operational excellence, while serving the entire AWS.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience- 3+ years of software development experience- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedulesPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- 7+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership- Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps- Understanding hardware server component and architectureAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
