Financial Reporting Manager

The Financial Reporting Manager will prepare and/or review various sections of the Company's financial statements and disclosures filed with the SEC, assist in ensuring all disclosures are complete, accurate, and in accordance with US generally accepted accounting principles (U.S. GAAP), and ensure iXBRL tagging is complete and accurate. They will perform accounting research to ensure agreements and complex transactions are properly accounted for. This is a remote position.

Essential Functions include:Effectively research accounting (under U.S. GAAP, IFRS, or other reporting frameworks, as applicable) for new, complex, or unusual transactions, and communicate/document the Company's accounting treatment for such transactions.Prepare and/or review financial information and disclosures in the Company's publicly filed information, including 10-Qs/10-Ks, 8-Ks, Earnings Releases, Proxy Statement, etc.Work directly with various personnel across the organization, including members of senior management, to obtain information necessary to ensure accurate disclosures in the Company's financial statements.Maintain excellent working relationships with various members of management from other departments, including General Accounting, Legal, Tax, Finance Partners, Treasury, and Business Development.Prepare and update accounting policies and internal controls documentation.Assist with other ad hoc projects, such as performing research on peer companies, implementation of new accounting standards, review of contracts for proper accounting treatment, etc.Review the work of others.Directly work with external auditors on audit requests as well as discussing proposed accounting for complex transactions, new accounting pronouncements and other matters as they arise.Provide suggestions and support for process improvements/efficiencies.Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance4+ years of relevant experience required with knowledge and understanding of U.S. GAAP and SEC ReportingPreferred QualificationsCPA licenseBig 4 experienceStrong organizational and project management abilities, attention to detail, and accuracyTeam playerAbility to think creatively and independently to solve problems, complete projects, and drive operational improvementsStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to effectively communicate in group settingsAbility to perform job duties under minimal daily supervisionTravel Expectations:

As required by applicable law, the annual salary range for this position is $95,000-$175,000. The actual compensation may vary based on geographic location, work experience, education and skill level.
