IT Change Management AnalystChicago, IL – 95% remote (onsite a couple times/month, unless you want to go in more)

Summary

The IT Change Management Analyst will partner with IT project teams to understand upcoming changes to technology that impacts users, and develop communications to ensure the impacted users understand the changes that are coming. Additionally, this person will partner with the Learning & Instructional Design team to develop training content for new technology that is being changed or implemented. Additionally, this person will manage general corporate communications through the company's intranet.

What you'll be doing

PROJECT-RELATED CONTRIBUTIONS

Work with the IT Change Management Manager and other team members to create and execute a change management plan for assigned projects, collaborating with leads of impacted functional areas to ensure appropriate messaging and communication channels.Work with the project teams and business counterparts to understand and document the Company-specific use cases that should be incorporated into testing and training content and materials.Manage overall project-related communications components, identifying cross-functional dependencies, key milestones, and critical paths while working with Project Managers and their teams to ensure schedules stay aligned with the overall IT initiative.contribute to testing and quality assurance efforts, when necessaryINTRANET CONTENT MANAGEMENT

Manage and respond to requests for content updates from across the company, while keeping in mind Company's content guidelines and any competing prioritiesPartner with all other Company departments support their content management and content creation on the company intranetSupport IT and other Company departments in communicating key messages via the intranet and other IT-supported platformsEscalate concerns or issuesEffectively set realistic expectations and deadlines to meetIT COMMUNICATIONS

Own, assess, and improve the existing IT communications processesDetermine appropriate communication media for IT messages, and recommend new options, when appropriateIdentify new ways for the IT organization to engage our company personnel and increase technology adoptionAnalyze available communications metrics to recommend improvements for the company's intranet, IT project-related communications, and maintenance communication

Skills we're seeking

2+ years of experience with IT Change Management or communications related to technology within an organizationStrong Excel experienceStrong writing skills – you will be required to submit a writing sample (something related to IT Change Management)Nice to have experience

Bachelor's Degree, ideally in communications or an IT related fieldExperience using a CMS to manage content and communications within an organization
