FIX is a protocol and uses the tag based format. Knowing Java or Python language will be helpful.What is the % of day they will be developing application that use FIX and what % will be MQ administration?There will be no active application development as FIX protocol and software are provided by the Vendor. MQ Admin/Monitoring will be ~20% during the testing and validation.The position requires to understand the FIX application (Setup and working of the application):Message format, Modifying the messages to create additional input volume, Simulating the input volume using FIX simulator, Configuring the simulator, Understanding the FIX application configuration, Debugging issues with FIX simulator and application.For MQ administration: Need to understand the FIX/MQ configuration and validate, Monitor the MQs during the testing, Troubleshoot any issues during the testing and provide solutions.Can you give an example of a couple of coding tasks they will be doing the most?Will involve creating the code for FIX data creation.Modifying the simulation scriptsCreating programs for round trip processing time of individual transactions and other adhoc programs.Dexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
