Job Title: Principal Technical Architect(multiple openings)
Job Location: Riverwoods, IL
Job Type: Full Time
Duties: Designs with PCI / regulatory requirements within their technology and product space. Delivers architectures that balance risk, security and operational excellence. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies.
Requirements: Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related field and 8 years of experience in the job offered or in a Technical Architect-related occupation.
Position required skills: Position requires experience in the following: Technical Architecture with API, Services domain, including API Gateways, Microservices architectures. Protocols including SOAP & REST. Architecture deliverables including API modeling, system designs, reference architectures and implementations using LeanIX, Lucid Chart, GitHub. Current API technologies including API technologies including Apigee, Layer 7, IBM API Connect or MuleSoft. API Service Mesh including Istio, Anthos, Consul Connect, or Linkerd. Kubernetes or public cloud including AWS (Amazon Web Service). Security frameworks leveraging technologies and standards including JWT, PKI, and OAuth. Observability tools including Kiali, Instana, Kibana, or Datadog.
Position eligible for incentives under Employee Referral Program
Rate of Pay: The base pay for this position generally ranges between $171,000 to $235,800. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.
