Job ID: 2707125 | Amazon.com Services LLCThe Amazon Customs and Trade Program & Product is a highly innovative team of program and product managers collaborating to deliver customs brokerage and trade solutions for our internal and external customers. We are building Amazon Customs and Trade into a global offering handling cross-border movements of cargo. Our mission is to transform global trade and increase the speed of frictionless cross-border solutions by providing strategic, transparent, and predictable customs and trade services and technologies. Simply put, we are making it easy for our customers to meet the regulatory requirements associated with the international movement of goods while bringing them value. And all of this in a customer-obsessed manner!

Key Responsibilities

User Research and Analysis:

Conduct user research through interviews, surveys, usability tests, and analytics tools.Analyze user data to derive insights and identify pain points.Create user personas and journey maps to understand user behavior and needs.Conduct UX workshops and apply proper UX methods to acquire in-depth knowledge into users and to drive cross-functional alignment.

Design and Prototyping:

Develop wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for new features and products.Design intuitive and engaging user interfaces (UIs) that align with user needs and business goals.Iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability testing.Leverage and improve design systems to create designs that are consistent and scalable.Develop strategic concepts based on voice of customers and stakeholders to inspire cross-functional teams.Create visionary designs that connect dots across multiple organizations and ensure a coherent design strategy for the business.

Collaboration and Communication:

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other designers.Present design concepts and solutions to stakeholders, incorporating feedback as needed.Ensure that design specifications are accurately implemented during the development process.Responsible for design planning and design operations for the business and championing priorities based on value added to customers.Proactively communicate and identify collaboration opportunities with partner businesses to create a flywheel.

Usability Testing and Quality Assurance:

Plan and conduct usability tests to evaluate design effectiveness.Gather and analyze test results to refine and improve user interfaces.Ensure that final products meet high standards of usability and accessibility.

Continuous Improvement:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in UX/UI design.Advocate for user-centric design principles and practices within the organization.Identify opportunities for enhancing the user experience across all digital touchpoints.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 8+ years of design experience- Have an available online portfolioPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The base pay for this position ranges from $127,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $211,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
