sition OverviewThis role is based on-site in

Denver, CO

in alignment with our flexible work policy. (3 days on site required, 2 days flexible).Vantage

is

seeking

a detail-oriented and analytical Energy Analyst to support our data center operations by

optimizing

energy usage, managing energy procurement, and driving sustainability initiatives. The Energy Analyst will play a critical role in monitoring energy consumption,

identifying

efficiency opportunities, and ensuring that our data centers

operate

at peak energy performance. This role requires a deep understanding of energy markets, data analysis, and sustainability practices, as well as the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve energy and cost-saving goals.Essential Job FunctionsEnergy Monitoring and Analysis

:Monitor and analyze energy consumption across data center facilities,

identifying

trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement.

Develop and

maintain

energy dashboards and reporting tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to energy usage and costs.

Provide regular reports and insights to management on energy performance and recommend strategies for optimization.

Energy Procurement and Cost Management

:Assist

in the procurement of energy, including negotiating contracts with energy suppliers and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Analyze energy market trends and pricing to

identify

cost-saving opportunities and manage energy budgets effectively.

Track and report on energy costs, ensuring

accurate

billing and

identifying

discrepancies.

Sustainability Initiatives

:Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives aimed at reducing the environmental impact of data center operations.

Collaborate with the sustainability team to set and achieve energy efficiency targets, including carbon reduction goals.

Research and recommend renewable energy options and other sustainable practices to enhance the company's environmental footprint.

Energy Efficiency Projects

:Identify

, evaluate, and implement energy efficiency projects across data center facilities, such as upgrading equipment,

optimizing

HVAC systems, and improving power usage effectiveness (PUE).

Work closely with engineering and operations teams to design and execute projects that reduce energy consumption and improve operational efficiency.

Regulatory Compliance and Reporting

:Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal energy regulations, including reporting requirements and energy audits.

Prepare and

submit

regulatory reports related to energy usage, emissions, and sustainability performance.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

:Collaborate with operations, facilities, and engineering teams to align energy strategies with overall business goals.

Provide technical support and training to internal teams on energy management practices and tools.

Job RequirementsEducation:Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field is

required

. A

Master's

degree is preferred.

Experience:Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in energy management, data analysis, or a related role, preferably within the data center or mission-critical environments.

Experience with energy procurement, sustainability practices, and regulatory compliance is a plus.

Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.

Proficiency

in energy management software, data analysis tools, and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel).

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of energy markets, pricing, and regulatory environments.

Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.

Proactive and self-motivated, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

Commitment to sustainability and energy efficiency practices.
