Dallas, TXThis role is an IT position focused on Workday configuration, not a typical HRIS Workday role. No sponsorship or C2C is available for this position.Role Overview:The HRIS Lead serves as the IT functional contact for core HR/Payroll systems and is a subject matter expert in HR systems design and capability. This position focuses on system configuration, development, delivery, and support across various HR functions, including HR, Payroll, Compensation, Benefits, Time Tracking, Talent Acquisition, Talent Development, and Talent Management. The HRIS Lead will implement and manage changes in line with company policies and IT Systems Change Management processes.Primary Responsibilities:System Configuration:

Configure the Workday HR system, including module updates, business process/workflow setup and modification, security, and reporting based on business requirements.Documentation and Impact Assessment:

Develop, review, and update system documentation during changes or new implementations. Conduct impact assessments of configuration changes on downstream or upstream systems.Problem-Solving and Issue Resolution:

Identify root causes of issues and develop business processes and technical solutions.Project Management:

Estimate work effort and create detailed implementation plans for small to medium projects and critical enhancements.Collaboration:

Partner with internal customers and external vendors to identify requirements, address challenges, and propose solutions.Qualifications:Education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.Experience:

Ten or more years of experience in HR systems design, configuration, development, delivery, and support across HR functional competencies including HR, Payroll, Compensation, and Benefits.Workday Modules:

Experience in two or more of the following Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Performance.System Life-Cycle Experience:

Experience with various system life-cycle phases, including requirements analysis, design, testing, implementation, deployment, and system upgrades.HR/Payroll Knowledge:

Fundamental working knowledge of HR/Payroll concepts, business processes, practices, and procedures.Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:

Advanced analytical skills with excellent problem-solving abilities.Project Management Skills:

Intermediate project/process management skills, including organizing and developing project schedules and tasks. Must be capable of managing multiple work efforts/projects simultaneously.Configuration Workday Role:

This is strictly a configuration role within Workday. Candidates with experience in both configuration and integration are less preferred.Workday Module Experience:

The candidate must have experience in two or more of the following Workday modules: HCM, Payroll, Time Tracking, Absence, Compensation, and Performance. The team already has someone strong in Payroll, so expertise in other areas would be beneficial.Project Leadership:

The candidate should be able to lead or have led parts of a project or configuration. They do not need to be a full project manager but must have demonstrated leadership in specific aspects of a project. Clearly state the candidate’s leadership experience in the submission, including the scope and duration of their leadership role.
