Job Summary

The Treasury Analyst will support the Treasury Manager and Assistant Treasurer in managing short-term liquidity for Thrivent Financial and its subsidiaries. This position plays a key role in the Treasury organization by ensuring efficient management of cash, generating process improvements, and utilizing technology to unlock opportunities and insights.Job Responsibilities and DutiesDevelop a cash forecast leveraging information from internal systems, investment teams and business partners; perform trend and variance analysis.Model scenarios for capital structure short- and long-term planning. Collaborate with Investments team on short-term investment strategy and with FP&A team to inform long-term forecasts.Calculate and forecast performance of spread lending programs, including the Federal Home Loan Bank program. Provide back-office support, calculate and forecast performance, and assist in stress testing.Track and monitor internal and external risk metrics covering liquidity, counterparty, and operational risks.Build and generate KPI reporting and financial models across treasury operations and cash management to provide insights for leadership.Produce and assist with the creation of management decks for leadership, financial reviews, and Board meetings.Forecast and validate rating agency Key Financial Indicators to support capital strategy.Assist in the implementation, optimization and maintenance of the treasury management system.Prepare data and modeling used for bank fee analysis, budgeting, and pricing negotiations to achieve fair and competitive market pricing. Understand and explain pricing and services and make recommendations based on trends or comparative analysis.Bank account administration including opening and closing accounts.Support cash management operations including payment processing, reconciliation, and cash positioning as needed.Job QualificationsRequired:Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.1-2 years’ experience in Treasury Operations or Cash Management.3 to 5 years of Accounting, Finance or other relevant experience. Experience with operation and optimization of a Treasury Management System.Analytical proficiency.Preferred:Attainment of Certified Treasury Professional certification, CFA, CPA, CMA or MBA.Cash forecasting experience.Financial Services industry experience.Additional InformationThis position allows a flexible work arrangement meaning you may work on-site and/or remotely from the Minneapolis, MN or Appleton, WI area.Pay Transparency

The applicable salary or hourly wage range for this full-time role is $67,369.00 - $91,146.00 per year, which factors in various geographic regions.

The base pay actually offered will be determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to, location, relevant experience, skills, and knowledge, business needs, market demand, and other factors Thrivent deems important.
