The opportunity Southern New Hampshire University is seeking a student employee to fill the role of Assistant to the Program Director for UpReach Therapeutic Equestrian Center in Goffstown, NH. This student will gain a wide range of experience in program support. The student will have the opportunity to be involved in multiple areas of programing offered, volunteer management and experience the daily functions of a nonprofit organization. Job Responsibilities: Provide direct support to the program staff in the development, implementation and evaluation of new and current programming. Assist in the collection, analysis and reporting of program data. Work with participants in mounted and unmounted lessons. Support the Volunteer Coordinator as needed. Learn about community needs and take part in various community initiatives and events. Minimum Qualifications: Current enrollment in classes as part of a SNHU degree program Work study part of financial aid package Students with work study may be prioritized Reliable transportation Willingness to attend required mounted and unmounted trainings Experience with Microsoft Suite Demonstrate professionalism and maintain confidentiality Possess the ability to balance various projects simultaneously with attention to detail and follow through Learning Outcomes: Students will have the opportunity to develop time management, leadership and critical thinking skills. Learn about mental health needs and various physical and cognitive disabilities. Work Schedule:
