Archer is an aerospace company based in San Jose, California building an all-electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft with a mission to advance the benefits of sustainable air mobility. We are designing, manufacturing, and operating an all-electric aircraft that can carry four passengers while producing minimal noise.

Build and operate integrated test labs for one of the world's first FAA certified eVTOL aircraft
Build and install test benches and rigs into the integrated test labs
Setup and operate test equipment for data acquisition during initial subsystems integration testing
Maintain lab documentation for lab modifications, repairs and upgrades
Inspect the work of other engineers and technicians to ensure quality and conformity with design specifications
Mentor other technicians to provide training on how to build and maintain complex subsystems test labs
What You Need
Extreme attention to detail and high expectations for quality technical work
5+ years of experience as a mechanical technician
Metalworking skills such as cutting, drilling and grinding on custom designed test rigs and benches
Ability to operate a knee mill, and lathe and other similar manual machining equipment
Excellent mechanic skills, for assembly of aircraft components into test setups
Basic woodworking skills for build and modification of mockup structures
A safety conscious mindset for ensuring the wellbeing of all working in the labs
Set an example for a high standard of technical work for other team members
Bonus Qualifications
A&P License
Experience with FAA type certification and conformal test setups
Familiarity with high voltage systems
