Across all IM teams, the curriculum is designed to equip Summer Analysts with the fundamental skills they need to be successful in IM. During the 10-week program, Summer Analysts experience the culture and atmosphere of Morgan Stanley by performing a role similar to a Full-Time Analyst.Primary ResponsibilitiesSupport quantitative group on long-term data projects and day-to-day activitiesAutomate trading and financial analysis workflows, quality controlling data inputs and outputsBuild and improve infrastructure for market, holdings and alternative dataAssist in development and monitoring of fund risk, marketing, and reporting toolsStreamline key insights into reports for PMs, Traders and Analysts to visualizeAssist and support in the development of various quantitative modelsJob RequirementsPursuing a Bachelor’s degree with an expected graduation date between December 2025 and June 2026Strong quantitative skills (Python, SQL or R preferred)Experience or demonstrated interest in the investment management industryAdvanced Excel skills and proficiency with general computer applications (Microsoft, Word, Outlook)Excellent oral and written communicationMust be organized, detail oriented, and able to multi-taskApplication Process and DeadlineIn order to be considered, candidates must apply with their resume through the Morgan Stanley website and complete their HireVue digital questionnaire.
