Senior CT Technologist in Orange, California
DescriptionUnder the supervision of the CT Medical Director and Radiology Management Team, the Senior CT Technologist plans, directs and coordinates all technical activities performed in the CT Department. Responsibility for development and implementation of CT protocols to assure lowest possible dose (ALARA), consistent installation of protocols across all equipment to ensure the highest level of image quality. CT protocols are developed with the Medical Director for the division and are reviewed by a physicist to assure that radiation doses do not exceed those recommended by the American College of Radiology (ACR).Required Qualifications:Graduate of an accredited program as a CT TechnologistUpon hire: California Radiologic TechnologistUpon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart AssociationUpon hire: National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic TechnologistsUpon hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed TomographyUpon hire: National Computed Tomography Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board4 years experience as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting or imaging centerPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree5 years experience as a CT TechnologistWhy Join Providence?Our best-in-class benefits are uniquely designed to support you and your family in staying well, growing professionally, and achieving financial security.
