Job Title: Infra Engineer(Storage/Backup) Location: Frisco, Texas or Bothell, WA (Hybrid Role) Mode : Contract ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES Job description: Job Location: Onsite: Basic Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related field t least (10) years of information technology work experience and experience, implementing, and/or managing Hybrid Cloud environments Infra Engineer - bility to understand all the aspects of DataCenter architecture, including design, development, and implementation across multi-cloud and multi-datacenter environments solid core foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering including Unix/Linux compute, networking, storage and backup Hands-On Experience with x86 server and converged infrastructure technologies including IBM, Dell, Client and Cisco. Pre-Dominantly Dell Servers Experience of working inside the Data Center for setting up the infra devices Proficiency in installing, managing & administer the linux systems predominantly Red hat Linux, Windows OS Proficiency in installing, managing & administer the Storage and Backup. Should be proficient in Dell EMC Storage, plus any other Storage platform Experience is managing Patching & Vulnerability of the Physical and Virtual Servers Hands-On knowledge on either of the Cloud management platform( Service Now, Cloud Bolt, VMWARE Cloud Foundation, VRealize Automation) 5 years of DevOps Infrastructure Engineering experience Experience in container orchestration solutions with Kubernetes, OpenShift AWS ECS/EKS/ Strong infrastructure engineering experience Understanding of Cloud application architecture - Microservices, REST, etc. Docker container development experience Experience in deploying cloud-based solutions using AWS/Azure/Google solid core foundation in infrastructure and systems engineering including Unix/Linux compute, networking, storage, and monitoring stacks. Experience developing micro services in both multi-tenant and dedicated micro service runtime environments. Is familiar with the Open Container Initiative and both docker and contained runtimes. Demonstrate proficiency with scripting and automation (bash, python, other programming languages) Experience in CI/CD Collaborate with database, and DevOps teams to ensure the optimal performance of the platform utomate tasks whenever possible using scripts or other appropriate tools(PowerShell/Bash/Ansible/Yaml etc.) Ensure the high availability, disaster recovery, and backup procedures are implemented and maintained ble to define the OS build standards for linux and windows system Good Understanding and working knowledge of file systems and migration Strong skills in understanding Cloud networking, such as configuring virtual networks, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs Experience in using Infrastructure as Code and Git source control to provision and deploy cloud resources Knowledge of Terraform for cross-platform cloud provisioning Experience in migrating and transforming existing systems to the cloud using cloud native tools and best practices. professional level of communication skills Problem-solving and analytical skills to handle complex challenges and issue Team player attitude and willingness to collaborate with others bility to produce clear and detailed technical documentation bility to work independently and in a team environment bility to design and implement the config management solution Preferred Qualifications: Minimum 10 years of experience as Infra Engineer 10 years of hands-on experience in setting up & managing the DataCenter for the Private Cloud Red Hat Certified Architect Red Hat Certified OpenShift Administrator Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Powershell, Bash, or Perl Strong experience with configuration management and IaaC tools, such as Ansible Solid understanding of Docker, containers, and microservices architecture. Experience with continuous integration, delivery, and deployment using tools like Gitlab, Jenkins, Azure Devops Familiarity with network setup and database configuration.
