OVERVIEW:
United Way of Greater Houston is seeking a Data & Systems Analyst who will be responsible for providing comprehensive support within the Accounting and Campaign Processing Salesforce environment. The Data & Systems Analyst is a proficient Salesforce expert who works collaboratively with the Senior Campaign Processing Manager to evaluate, develop, and implement efficient processes and procedures. This position will play an integral role in developing and maintaining reports tailored to departmental needs as well as broader organizational purposes with the goal of guaranteeing data accuracy and reconciliation across departments. Position is also responsible for facilitating communication, training, and onboarding for new department staff.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Data and Systems Analysis:
Supports key activities related to Salesforce and CRM databases by working collaboratively with managers to oversee database administration, address user support requests and develop new data reports as required. Documents business practices, procedures, and data-related processes ensuring adherence to data governance and privacy policies.Provides technical support within Accounting and Campaign Processing departments, particularly in integrating Salesforce with Financial Edge, with a focus on General Ledger codes. Serves as a payouts specialist and oversees data cleanup initiatives to uphold data accuracy and integrity within systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
Reporting and Reconciliation:
Assists Sr. Manager with monthly close, which includes, posting, approvals and providing close reports to Accounting. Creates, develops, and maintains reports tailored to departmental needs and for broader organizational purposes with the goal of ensuring data accuracy and reconciliation across departments.
Training:
Facilitates communication and Salesforce training initiatives, ensuring seamless onboarding for new department staff.
Other Duties:
Performs additional duties and other special projects as assigned by supervisor or senior management.
