Job Summary:Great working environment in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient departmentUniversity Radiology Associates, LLP., located at 550 Harrison Center, Syracuse, N.Y.No PET experience necessary will trainNo weekends or callPerforms all duties with hybrid imaging in a PET/CT and SPECT/CT outpatient departmentCalculates, orders, administers and records radioactive isotopesInstructs patients on proper exam preparationVerify physician orders for procedures as well as properly identifying patientPerforms all required quality control proceduresMaintains compliance with continuing education requirementsWe have a wonderufl opportunity for a Nuclear Medicine Tech to sit for the NMTCB(CT) boards, as a student, enrolled with our College of Health ProfessionsMinimum Qualifications:CNMT or ARRT(N) and NYS DOH (Nuclear Medicine) License. Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association or the American Red Cross is required.Preferred Qualifications:NMTCB(CT) or ARRT(CT)Work Days:Rotating Schedule 6am-5pm (8.5 hr shifts)/ No weekend or call/ Occasional overtimeMessage to Applicants:Posting updated: 8/2/24
$3,000. sign on bonus available. $1,500 at hire and $1,500 after 6 months of active employment.
