Headquartered in Los Angeles, California with over 100 offices and more than 80 correspondent offices, our commitment to providing relentless, customized services is the foundation of our consistent growth.Our IT team is seeking a Production Support Analyst to provide analysis, support, and assistance throughout the production process. The role involves addressing client issues, collaborating with project managers, QA staff, and software engineers to troubleshoot and resolve daily production challenges. Responsibilities include analyzing production incidents, providing solutions, and escalating issues to other IT teams as necessary. The position is currently hybrid, but the ability to work onsite five days a week is required.Job Responsibilities:Provide daily operational support, resolve issues, monitor client and business units, and proactively identify and recommend solutionsFormulate and define scope and objectives for complex enhancements and problem resolutionUse SQL to analyze and track data issues, participate in development releases, and gather business requirements for communication with stakeholders and the development teamPartner with appropriate development and production support areas to prioritize bug fixes and support tooling requirementsReview daily production reports, work with appropriate parties to resolve identified issues, and communicate tasks / ServiceNow ticket status and issues to client and team membersUtilize Azure DevOps (SaaS) platform to perform deployments, releases, monitoring, and investigation in support of UAT/Prod environmentsSupport and conduct CI/CD operations within Azure Cloud and on-premise architecture in support of UAT/Prod environmentsMonitor the phone queue and answer any incoming calls from internal users and external clients to promptly resolve their issue or inquiry in a timely and professional mannerAssess business risks with attention to reputation, ensure compliance with laws and policies, and transparently manage and report control issuesPerform other duties as required and assignedExperience and SkillsBachelor's Degree from an accredited university required, preferably in Computer Science or other related field.1+ years in a business analysis or project coordinator role, knowledge and experience around Financial Services business operations and intermediate knowledge of SQL/PostgreSQL/ MongoDB databases and queriesAbility to work weekends and midnight shift on a rotational basis within the team to provide 24x7 coverageExperience with Atlassian JIRA, Confluence, ServiceNow or any other ticketing/documentation systems, knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologiesExperience documenting workflow processes using process-flow or activity diagramsExperience with the concept of DevOps and familiar with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Azure (SaaS), Postman, GitHub, TFS, and SonarQubeExperience in Agile SCRUM/Kanban software development methodology (Preferred) and exposure to IT Service Management (ITSM) specifically Change Management and Incident ManagementAbility to automate manual touchpoints using PowerShell, Batch, Bash, Python or other similar coding languages and intermediate knowledge of Monitoring methodologies specifically ITRS Geneos (Preferred)Basic knowledge and troubleshooting of Kubernetes API Gateways, Ingress Controllers, and Azure ArchitectureExcellent communication and customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively across various departments and levels of the organization and excellent analytical, problem-solving and critical-thinking skillsHighly organized with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects and competing priorities without sacrificing accuracy or efficiency and advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritizationAbility to apply sound ethical judgement regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practicesJob BenefitsWhat Wedbush Offers YouAs part of our overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities offers an array of diverse benefits to all our colleagues. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $65,000 to $90,000. Colleagues may be eligible for additional, discretionary incentive compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.
