In this role, you will provide maintenance of the computer desktop environment by analyzing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and staffing the internal IT Helpdesk. You will be responsible for administration and internal support of the Company's PCs, printers, cell phones, tablets, and related equipment. Tasks include end user support, license tracking, and performing PC maintenance, upgrades, and configurations.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

- Provide helpdesk support and resolve problems to the end user's satisfaction

- Monitor and respond quickly and effectively to requests received through the IT helpdesk

- Modify configurations, software settings, etc. for approved corporate standards on the local workstation

- Setup of mobile devices including phones, tablets and MiFi's

- Provide assistance to end-users on operation of any IT systems

- Document internal procedures

- Install, test and configure new workstations, peripheral equipment and software

- Provide training to new users

- Maintain inventory of all equipment, software and software licenses

- Escalate issues in a timely manner to the proper technician

- Verify users and computers are assigned to proper groups

- Perform timely workstation hardware and software upgrades as required

- Travel to other company offices and job sites as needed to support end-users

- Other duties as assigned by supervisor

SKILLS

- Knowledge in Microsoft Operating Systems and Office Suites, particularly as it relates to end user basic functions

- Fundamental understanding of networking, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, Windows Server

- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered with excellent communication skills

- Demonstrated capability of strong problem-solving skill using logical and methodical methods

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

- Experience troubleshooting and repairing computers

- Experience installing and configuring desktop software

- Experience with Apple and Android cell phones and tablets

- A minimum of a high school degree is required. Some college education would be a plus.
