JDWe are seeking a skilled Kafka Architect with a strong background in both Kafka and database technologies. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and manage our Kafka infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with various databases to support scalable and reliable data streaming solutions.Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement Kafka clusters to support scalable, reliable data streaming.Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate Kafka with relational and NoSQL databases.Optimize Kafka performance, ensuring low-latency data processing and high throughput.Monitor Kafka infrastructure, identify bottlenecks, and troubleshoot issues.Develop data pipelines that involve both Kafka and databases, ensuring efficient data flow.Provide guidance on best practices for Kafka development and database integration.Ensure data security, consistency, and compliance within the Kafka and database ecosystem.Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.Proven experience in Kafka architecture and administration.Strong knowledge of relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, Cassandra).Experience in designing and implementing data pipelines using Kafka and databases.Proficiency in SQL and database performance tuning.Experience with Kafka Connect, Kafka Streams, and other related tools.Strong knowledge of distributed systems and event-driven architecture.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash) for automation.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
