tomorrow is yours to define Forever!The District Sales Manager will lead the collective retail team within your designated district and will drive the overall performance and results of approximately 15+ stores. You will inspire a team of Store Managers to take ownership of their store and foster a culture of high performance, positivity, and inclusivity.Under your leadership, retail team members will operate with a customer-centric mindset as we deliver on our mission to inspire individual self-expression through amazing fashion.

You'll need to be a creative problem-solver, thinking strategically in order to tackle business challenges with innovative solutions. You will lead the creation of a results-driven culture based on clear expectations while holding team members accountable and setting goals that focus on driving key performance in the district.Responsibilities:As the District Sales Manager you will:Lead store teams to consistently execute business plans, drive top-line sales, and meet financial goals and objectivesPartner with SVP, Retail and Regional Sales Manager to identify and develop successful strategies to meet sales goalsOversee and maximize store volume and profit in accordance with store/company goalsEffectively utilize business plans and reports to analyze trends and drive key performance indicator (KPI) resultsManage operational execution by directing store teams using new and existing processes and procedures (SOPs)Lead weekly store management meetings to communicate corporate directives and initiativesSupport and promote HQ Visual direction to ensure stores execute a compelling visual presentationCoach store management team on business acumen, visual presentation, and people managementManage store talent success through effective coaching, development, recruiting, and retention strategiesCollaborate with other District Sales Managers to improve overall talent quality in regionPartner with Human Resources to support the teams, manage talent, and resolve conflictPartner with Regional Loss Prevention Manager to identify trends and develop action plans to reduce district shrinkSet the tone for the district by the creation of a fun, rewarding culture which lives Forever 21s company valuesModel our values of respect, integrity, teamwork, passion, accountability, and inclusivity.

Qualifications:You will also have:Minimum 3-5 years of experience in multi-unit management in a comparable retail environmentProven ability to drive sales results, analyze selling reports, identify business trends, and react quickly to the needs of the businessStrong business match acumen with the ability to understand and articulate profit and loss statements, margin developments, and budgets and sales forecastsStrong sense of urgency while maintaining quality resultsExceptional written and verbal interpersonal, communication, and customer service skillsAbility to identify top talent and train/develop/retain great peopleProficient in windows-based software such as Excel, Word and OutlookOther Requirements:Bend, lift, open and move product and fixtures up to 50 pounds, as needed.Travel Requirements:Ability to travel 3-4 days per weekWhy we think youll love it hereAt Forever 21, we foster an inclusive culture where everyone feels they belong.
