Job Description:Radiology Coordinator - Nuclear Medicine / PET

Full TimeJob DescriptionCoordinates delivery of health care services to assist in diagnosis and treatment. Provides health care services and departmental efficiency in the Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT department using radioisotopes to assist diagnosis or treatment. Performs nuclear medicine and PET/CT related procedures, computer processing and related techniques, producing images for the interpretation by or at the request of a licensed independent practitioner.Directs human and physical resources to achieve an established standard of care in Nuclear Medicine services.Exercises professional judgment in performance of duties and maintain a demeanor complementary to medical ethics.Recognizes various patient conditions in order to provide appropriate patient care to ensure successful completion of the exam or procedure.Assure appropriate patient care management and adjust daily operation to meet the needs of a changing working environment.Provides adequate scheduling coverage in all areas and posts schedules at least two weeks prior to end of current scheduleRequirementsCurrent American Registry Radiologic Technology (ARRT) Registry) in Radiography RT(R)/ Nuclear Medicine (CNMT).Current license with the Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation TherapyCurrent Advanced ARRT and /or CNMT Registry is required.PET certification recommended upon completion of 700 hours of clinical experienceWorking knowledge on areas to be supervised.Current CPR for Healthcare Providers.Outstanding verbal and written communication skills as well as great Interpersonal skillsBenefitsTuition Reimbursement up to $6,000 annuallyCompany paid Maternity and Paternity Leave5 days of Paid Time Off available upon hireBereavement Leave (includes pets)PTO Sell Back ProgramCompassionate Leave Sharing Program (PTO Donation)If you would like to be part of a growing family focused on supporting clinical excellence, teamwork and innovation, we urge you to apply now!
