Position SummaryResponsible for the configuration, installation, and maintenance of the organization's IT technologies equipment at stores. Serves as one of the "help desk" contacts for locations outside of support centers for information and communications systems including POS, PCs, networks, phones, and video surveillance. Delivers and/or coordinates troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance.

Essential Duties(Other duties within the scope of this position may be assigned.)1. Assists with answering Help Desk phone calls and tickets.

2. Participates in after hours call rotation.

3. Configures, installs, and maintains organization's IT technology equipment at stores.

4. Assists associates with the proper use of IT software and equipment.

5. Works with vendors to coordinate new installations and repairs. Monitors repairs to ensure conformance to Goodwill's specifications.

6. Troubleshoots phone line and networking issues at stores.

7. Troubleshoots POS and credit card machines issues.

8. Responsible for limited troubleshooting of video surveillance system.

Supervisory ResponsibilitiesThe associate in this position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.

Education/Experience/Certificates/Security Clearance•High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.•2-4 Years' experience in a related IT and networking support position preferred.•Computer or networking certifications preferred.•Valid state driver's license, insurance and satisfactory driving record are required.•The associate in this position will be required to successfully pass a criminal background check.•Ability to operate PC, proficiency with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Information Privacy and SecurityThis associate may have access to Confidential Information (CI) and is required to be familiar with the Goodwill Privacy policy 10.23 related to the handling of CI, and follow all related procedures required to protect the privacy and security of CI.

Physical Demands/Work Environment/Work Conditions•The associate is required to lift up to 35 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 10 pounds. Involves walking and/or standing to a significant degree, with some pushing and pulling.

•The associate works in a general office environment and is infrequently exposed to extreme atmospheric conditions (temperature, noise, fumes, dust, etc.).

•The associate is required to travel throughout the Goodwill service area.

•The associate must be available to work on call hours as scheduled.
