Your Role:
As our IT Support Specialist, your role will involve a broad range of responsibilities, from serving as an escalation point for complex issues to assisting with various operational tasks. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective support, maintenance, and administration of SPP's computing resources. The ideal candidate will be an experienced IT professional with a strong ability to communicate and collaborate across all levels of the organization.

To be successful as the Senior or Lead IT Support Specialist, we're looking for:
Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology related field, or equivalent experienceLead:
Minimum of ten (10) years Information Technology support experience is requiredSenior:
Minimum of eight (8) years Information Technology support experience is requiredFour (4) plus years of experience in Provisioning, De-Provisioning accessAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft computer operating systems and applications
Microsoft Server Operating Systems and Microsoft Workstation Operating SystemsMicrosoft Office 365 Products
Advanced knowledge of how to administer a VDI infrastructureAdvance knowledge of Identity & Access Management ProcessAdvanced knowledge of networking as it pertains to user and server systems configurationAdvanced knowledge of computer cloning technologiesAdvanced knowledge of encryption and other security technologiesAbility to acquire job specific skills and certifications through formal and on-the-job trainingStrong organizational skills and interpersonal communication skills, including technical writing and problem solvingAbility to lead, mentor, and to give direction to team members with little or no direction from supervisor including the ability to solve personnel conflicts and address concerns before reaching the supervisor, when possibleCertification Requirements:
Advanced Microsoft Certifications: Microsoft Windows Desktop and/or Server CertificationsMinimum of ITIL Fundamentals CertificationVMware CertificationPreferred:

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position. Days and hours of workweek are Monday through Friday; 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.Working extended hours may be required.This position is required to participate in an on-call rotation.
Work Location:
This is a hybrid position located in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Travel Requirement:
This position requires minimal travel (approximately 10%).
