Exciting Opportunity!We are seeking a highly motivated Team Lead/Principal Relationship Manager to lead a team of relationship managers in our Emerging Middle Market Group covering the Stockton, Modesto and Sacramento markets. The ideal candidate has 7+ years of experience calling on companies generating $10MM - $50MM in revenue and has established relationships with customers, COIs, and key stakeholders in these geographies. This is a player/coach role.

Responsibilities:

Facilitates growth initiatives for the Bank through significant business development and excellent management of key client relationships.

Leads and executes business development plans to achieve or exceed business goals.

Provides strategic input into business decisions as a trusted advisor.

Makes recommendations to senior leaders on strategy and new initiatives.

Acts as a subject matter expert on relevant regulations and policies.

Advises on sales strategy based on market understanding and business growth opportunities.

Conducts independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues.

Develops business cases by identifying needs and assessing expected ROI.

Recommends business priorities and develops roadmap for strategic execution.

Manages the risk of the assigned complex portfolio in a timely manner.

Maintains accurate documentation and ensures adherence to prescribed policies and procedures.

Leads operational programs and adapts as needed to ensure quality of execution.

Acts as daily sales contact for clients on sales-related questions.

Gathers data to advance sales process and completes all required documentation.

Assists team in pre-sales activities and tracks implementation requests.

Maintains current client information on Bank system/files.

Ensures accurate billing to clients.

Operates at a group/enterprise-wide level and serves as a specialist resource to senior leaders.

Implements changes in response to shifting trends.

Broader work or accountabilities may be assigned as needed.

Qualifications:

Typically 7+ years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study.

Demonstrated history of successful business development.

Experience in contact negotiations with clients and legal counsel.

Experience drafting responses to complex RFPs.

In-depth knowledge of risk management, sales and service management, relationship management, and business acumen.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Able to manage ambiguity and make data-driven decisions.

Salary:

$120,000.00 - $222,600.00

Pay Type:

Salaried
