The Senior Brand Manager, Godiva brands Innovation is a critical team member to achieving this success as s/he will be responsible for developing, establishing and achieving the short- and long-term brand objectives and strategies for the Godiva Innovation & Seasonal business.

The Senior Brand Manager will be responsible for leading the development and execution of innovation strategy and pipeline for the brands. The position will focus on increasing sales, market share, and profit by developing a robust pipeline that is incremental to the portfolio & is margin accretive - including enhancing strategic innovation framework, lead innovation from A to Z including brainstorming/ideation, concept development, product development, consumer testing, commercialization, launch programs, post-launch tracking and execution, managing the innovation budget, and working cross functionally with Insights, R&D, Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance as well as with our vendor partners (flavor house, insights.) The Senior Brand Manager will also manage the Seasonal in-and-out strategy & business.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES AND DELIVERABLES:

Lead development of portfolio strategy for existing and new platforms across the portfolio, including price pack architecture and 3-5-year global innovation pipeline, as well as short term pipeline and execution for the Americas to achieve the brand's volume, profit, and spending objectives

Identify insights, market trends, competitive activity, and whitespace opportunities that deliver long term innovation pipeline (w/ particular focus on key seasonal collections - Holiday/V-Day/Spring-Easter)Identify opportunities to simplify and streamline seasonal portfolio through long term strategy and SKU rationalizationLead analysis and communication of business performance through in-depth analysis and business tracking, leveraging internal data and IRIOversee P&L, forecasting, budget, sku commercialization processes (PAT, Stage Gates)Lead Global and Americas cross-functional teams including R&D, Regulatory, Packaging Engineering, Finance, Demand Planning, Production along with external agencies (depending on projects) to ensure the agreed portfolio strategy is delivered and products are launched on timePartner with Global Regional Markets to manage new product development and existing product development to maximize innovation potential across Regional Markets in addition to acting as a regional market for the Americas (i.e., lead innovation projects coming out of Turkey as well as Reading)Partner with Sales team to understand short- and long-term marketing, innovation, and product development opportunities to help grow Godiva's gifting business within key customers and channels (i.e., Costco, .coms, Specialty exclusives)Support team with Global communication and activation ideas to drive trial and awareness of gifting platformsSKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

Essential Criteria

Proven analytical skills, including performance tracking, in-depth topical analysis, product P&L

Excellent project management skills, able to manage multiple and often accelerated projects simultaneously in a highly matrixed organizationAbility to motivate individuals/team in pursuit of the common objectiveCross-cultural understanding and insights - ability to collaborate with regional teamsDesirable Criteria

Self-management and ability & desire to work in a face-paced environment

Willingness to travel when requiredMust exhibit a passion for the company's vision, mission, and values

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

MBA with 5 years or more of experience in a Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or BA/BS with 7+ years of work experience in a similar role/function

ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATION

Base starting salary at $162K/yr. The Base pay offered is based on market location andmay vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.
