Job Summary
At Chartwells K12 we are looking for an outgoing marketing professional who is passionate about building a brand that supports students, wellness and creating a collaborative culture.
The Marketing Manager is a key member of the Chartwells K12 team supporting a school district with responsibility for implementing customized marketing plans/solutions and partnering with operations to grow participation and drive the business.
Under the Director of Marketing, you will help shape district-wide marketing and promotional strategy with a focus on increasing sales, improving student/client satisfaction, and promoting Chartwell’s brand while generating events and activities to build an outstanding student experience. The role is multifaceted with oversight of strategic marketing initiatives that improve participation and drive new revenue. To reach these goals, you will handle the following:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Guides our food service teams in the execution of marketing promotions, student participation, campaigns, catering, and retail sales drivers
Assists with communications and public relations efforts for Chartwells K12 with management of student/faculty feedback, press releases, community presentations, & website maintenance
Leads social and digital media efforts with engaging storytelling
Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans and handles the efficiency and organization of these plans
Monitors, reviews and reports on all marketing activities and results
Nurtures positive relationships with key district leaders to align our program with initiatives to drive satisfaction and retention
Works with student groups to gather feedback, gauge and measure customer satisfaction
Develops marketing collateral and communications pieces, including brochures, newsletters, programming announcements, promotional guides, etc.
Supervises activities of and helps direct marketing efforts for 150+ schools
Works in cooperation with the school community to enhance partnerships and to support sustainability awareness, programming for nutritional and dietary awareness, community events, etc.
Coordinates and plans programming and events and lead a diverse committee of client and Chartwells participants.
Creates and distributes collateral for newsletters, programming announcements, promotional activities, guest feedback systems, presentations, etc.
Data-driven and comfortable with reporting and trends analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising, communications or hospitality management
Minimum of three years marketing experience
Restaurant, fast casual or food marketing experience a plus
Excellent verbal and written communicator who remains abreast of local trends
Project management skills and ability to multitask
Self-starter with outstanding planning and implementation skills
Ability to present to large groups with multi-level participants
Knowledge of merchandising and promotions
Ability to direct implementation and produce outcomes by working through teams
