Bilingual Strategic Account Manager/Account Executive

Are you a bilingual professional who would like to assist our Japanese executives manage U.S. risk and people programs?

This role is essential to include bilingual professionals as a part of our Aon Account Service Team!

Location preference for this role would be a hybrid-remote role with the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Chicago, IL office location. Would consider candidates in Texas who would be working virtually.

As a part of Japan Global Solutions (JGS) in U.S., you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovate and effective services and solutions. You will closely work with clients, Aon leadership team and colleagues to achieve strong revenue growth of business.

What the day will look like

The role involves production and strategic account coordination of key U.S. Japanese clients and prospects frequently interacting with the client's Risk Leadership (e.g. CEO, CFO & Finance Manager for Risk) externally as well as Aon's Account Service Team for the broader strategic discussions of our services & solutions internally.
  • By working closely with account service team, grow strategic relationship with the leadership of U.S. Japanese clients & prospects as Strategic Bilingual Account Coordinator.
  • By partnering with practice & geographical office leadership team, develop and implement the strategic sales & growth plan.
  • Partner with leadership team to implement and complete local, regional, and national initiatives.
  • Work with Commercial Risk, Reinsurance, Health Solutions and Retirement leaders & colleagues to better understand challenges and use that information to explore potential solutions.
  • Network with internal & external leaders across the industry to strengthen the value proposition of practice group.
  • Expand book of business and overall client relationships.

Skills and experience that will lead to success
  • Bilingual in business level Japanese and English, both spoken and written.
  • 8+ years of sales, consulting and marketing background.
  • Client facing experience at brokerage, insurance company, financial institutions or professional service company in the Japanese business segment.
  • Complex project management experience.
  • Must hold state insurance licenses in Property & Casualty or obtain licenses within a reasonable period time.

Education: Bachelor's degree

Pay Transparency Laws:

The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $100,000 - $120,000 annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.

This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans to receive an annual discretionary bonus and production incentives in addition to base salary. The amount of any bonus and production incentives varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
