Edelman Canada is looking for a Senior Account Manager to join their Digital team, working closely with its Brand team on some of the world's most famous CPG brands. Reporting to a Senior Account Director, Digital, the Senior Account Manager will be responsible for managing and executing digital projects for various Brand and Digital clients, with a key focus on social-first programming. As a Senior Account Manager, you have a passion for all things digital. You are not only on top of the latest online trends but know how to get things done in this space: process oriented and levelheaded.

The ideal candidate will thrive on building relationships with both clients and influencers. They will have extensive experience with many of the following: influencer identification, outreach and negotiations, digital content and channel planning, exposure to paid media strategies, community management, social networks, inter-agency planning, measurement approaches and online conversation research & monitoring. They will also have excellent organizational skills and the ability to adapt to new conditions, assignments and deadlines.

What you'll bring:
    • Build strong relationships with clients and operate as day-to-day client contact
    • Demonstrate an understanding of today's news and media landscape and the ability to successfully implement online engagement programs
    • Execute and lead digital marketing and social media programs for clients including oversight/execution of digital strategies, including influencer marketing programs
    • Build and maintain influencer relationships and consult on influencer programs across the agency
    • Work with senior digital leadership to continuously stay on top of the changing influencer marketing landscape and proactively identify ways to evolve Edelman Toronto's influencer marketing offering accordingly
    • Drive in-house expertise on influencer marketing tools, platforms, vendors and networks
    • Exhibit effective project management working closely with account teams - prepare and/or review activity reports and status reports for clients; keep the account team abreast of timelines and deadlines; ensure high-quality delivery against deadlines
    • Participate in new business process including research, audits, proposal development and pitch presentations
    • Work closely in integrated teams to ensure seamless coordination between digital activities, public relations programs and creative campaigns
    • Demonstrate creativity and conceptual thinking on client programs and projects
    • Effectively work within account budget parameters. Demonstrate a solid understanding of budget parameters and ability to handle day-to-day budget
    • Pursue opportunities for learning new expertise & share appropriately
    • Viewed as strong "team player" and serve as role model to more junior team members
    • Recognize impact of self on others; maintain strong internal/external relationships; support fellow team members

Qualifications:
    • Post-Secondary education in a related field
    • 5-7 years of digital marketing experience, including experience working with digital influencers and creative teams
    • Excellent client management skills
    • Expertise with the most current tools and trends in influencer identification and social media, and a track record of with strategic deployment of digital tactics and strategy
    • Strategic yet creative thinker, self-starter, able to manage multiple projects simultaneously without management supervision
    • Strong problem solving, strategic communication and presentation skills
    • Experience running campaigns to engage and mobilize target audiences
    • Experience with managing budgets that account for staff, advertising, third-party and ongoing fee costs
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative team atmosphere, serving multiple clients at the same time
